- Always trim wick to 1/4"
before lighting candle.
- Always keep wax free
from foreign objects.
- Never leave a burning
candle unattended.
- Always burn candles on a
heat resistant surface. Candle
containers and holders may become hot.
- Keep candles out of
direct sunlight. It can fade colors and cause irregular
melt.
- If a candle burns
unevenly, it is in a draft. Rotate the candle 90 degrees
periodically to keep burning uniform, or move to another
location.
- With pillar candles,
only burn for a few hours, careful not to let the whole
top become liquefied. This helps keep the sides intact
and allows the candle to have a much longer burn time.
- Burning candles no
longer than 4 to 5 hours at a time will
increase total burn time.
- Container candles (tins,
votives in holders, etc.) should be burned 1 hour for
each inch of diameter. This allows the wax pool to cover
the entire surface, and extends the burning time.
- Never place your candle
directly on furniture. Always use a non-flammable stand
or plate.
- Do not place candles in
the freezer for any reason.
- Votive candles must be
in a container. They are made of a low melt wax. The
tighter the fit, the longer the candle will burn.
As with any handmade
product, no two candles are exactly alike in size and
shape.
Please burn your candles!!
